I appreciate the invite but life is too crazy with 2 kids and all the commitments I have. I usually try to use my free weekend days when I get them to go Jeepin.

 

If I ever make it to Hawaii (probably never happen) I would have to rent a red Ferrari 308 GTS and find a black guy named TC. Oh yea and ya got to have that theme song.

That looks like a place I know that got closed down several years ago in Elgin.

I go to The Cliffs and the Badlands mostly. I used to go to RORP and I am still trying to make it out to Hanibal Rocks but I just haven't been out there this year. Gas Prices and 2 kids have been taking a toll on fun this year.

I get to Badlands a few times a year, been to Flat Nasty, a bunch of Jeep Jamborees. Only legal wheeling for this boy, so I was never tp Elgin...but heard about it.

As far as the Cliffs......well....when its dry, its muddy....and its NEVER dry.

A little to swampy for me most of the time, been there a few times however.

Really that doesn't look like any part of badlands I know of...and I know the Badlands really well.

I went to that place in Elgin many many many years ago...I was told it was legal by the club I used to belong to many many years ago..I only was there once it was very small and boring. I just figured it was an old picture. I was not implying you were into illegal wheeling.

I only doing legal wheeling as well. I hate when people go and ruin the image of us for everyone by wheeling places they don't belong and don't have permission. I always say If you don't pay an entrance fee it's not legal. Inless of course your out west.

 

The cliffs can never be too muddy. I get out there at least once a month, and even when the parking lot is sloopy, the trails still have too many dry spots for me.
