WTB: rear differential asmbly 3.55

My differential ate itself and I need to get back on the road as cheap and easy as possible. A 3.55 open will do!

TIA,

Vince

Check the classified ads on this forum. Also, most bones yards will have something that will fit your truck Swapping the whole axle should be the cheapest. The internals are very expensive.

I'm changing my carrier to a posi, you can have the 'open' carrier for the price of shipping if you want it.

As soon as I can clear the shop.
My stuff is always the last to get fixed. You realize that you'll only be getting the carrier, spider gears and cross pin, No ring or pinion gears and the bearings.

How much do you need in the diff?

Yah, I was amazed at the weight of that thing. I just pulled an s-10 out of the ditch by my house and damn near got stuck myself. I need to change that thing asap.

Does the 10.25 ring gear just bolt up to the 10.50 carrier?

I'm thinking I should get the whole assembly so I can just bolt it back together.
