I know someone needs a service body

I've got a company truck 01' superduty w/ 9ft. Reading Aerotech service body. I've looked all over the country for a standard 8ft dually bed to replace it with. This seems to be a harder task than I thought...Anyone got any suggestions as to where I might find a bed other than the dealership?

It's a nice bed, good shape, electronic locks, just doesn't do me any good. The main problem is I drive across the Bay Bridge everyday and would have to give up my easy pass lane and possibly stop at the scale...it's got a big 12,500lb sticker on the side. The former driver used to have to stop at scales going from Md. to Jersey all the time.

Look in Yellow Pages for anyplace that installs lift gates, etc. on trucks. Lots of times they have whole beds as well as gates for sales to anyone that needs one.

Checked alot of lift gate and service body shops...nada. Most of the junk yards say they don't see too many cause even if the truck wrecked in front they still want too much $ at auction. The only one I've found is in Arizona but is 6ft. Theres gotta be one somewhere.

That's heavy, like to make it depends on when. Goin' on vacation next month 11th - 18th. Never been to C.C. dragway like to check it out.
