Talking is this a problem?

ipr question: my ipr seems to have really loose electrical connection as well as the thin metal (cover?)...the plug will move back&forth 1 to 2 inches is this normal? also the nut in the back seems at least finger tight. i havent done my injectors yet still savin up . thinking about ipr ,might be the right order of repair,i have a miss feeling from 1100-1800 then runs up pretty good. it used to have the 500rpm flucuation until i did the 15.6 mod all stock except straight pipe,15.6, fpr, not tellin air filter i run.
