Well, I'm still around. I figured I'd stop in and say hi. I have really nothing new to add, other than I still have my truck, still haven't done a thing with it. It does still run, it's my daily commuter when it's wet/windy. The Harley is my sunny day ride now. 50MPG sure beats the 7-8 mpg in the truck, and besides, it's a HARLEY! HAHA, I get the same amount of miles per tank on the bike, as I do in the truck! haha
I see not much happening around here, still. Oh well, I guess old trucks just ain't what they used to be. I DID however meet one of my neighbors the other day (which happens to be the reason I got on here today, made me miss the enthusiasm for the truck), He has a 71 F100 in pretty decent shape, he's planning on doing some work on it like brakes, suspension, and paint, but mostly going to keep it stock, from what he told me.
We still live out here in Tuttle. I thought for sure the house payment would kill us, but ehh, it's always getting better.
anyway, Good to see you all still breathin' too! haha
OKC GTG sometime? I could use a good burger, or even a steak!
-Later,
Ken

hey, that's my old stompin' grounds! yeah, there's lots of good places to eat around there. If you wanna go with a good ol' onion burger, there's the coca~cola grill over on S. Western just north of 89th, Ted's Escondito just across the street from there if you like mexican food, then there's all of 74th street (I-240) and all it has to offer.
I'll PM my # to you, I'm sure you don't have it since I moved to Tuttle.
oh, and BTW, I live right by the S. Canadian and people go 4wheelin' out here all the time.....well when there isn't any rain (the river has been pretty high all year, go figure)
I guess we could get a hold of everyone else, I still have most everyone's numbers.
It's good to see that someone is happy with their job. I wish I was, but it pays the bills nicely, so I think I'll muttle through. haha. I'll have to swing by some time and have a cold one with ya!
till next time

How's it going' Stan? haha, I didn't even take a second to remember your name! whaduyaknow! haha
I've been well. The Harley is just a little 883 sportster, but it is sure fun to ride! I'll be heading up to Tulsa some day soon with my brother to check out a bike shop, and do some cruisin' up and down '66. I don't know when, but it will be some time in october, I'm sure. Much later, and it will just be to cold, most likely (for a long ride like that)
Got any babies yet, Stan? haha you are still married, right? Hah, I still have yet to even see the misses.
Forgive me if I'm confusing you with someone else that got married, but I could have sworn you said you were to be getting married, it's been TO long.

What the heck, Brian lives close to lots of food joints (soda pop's is GREAT!) and Roger lives just down the block, from there too, I'm pretty sure you still live in that area, right? Sounds like getting together over there somewhere is best.

I am still here around SW119th and Portland. Just around the corner from SwOkcOffRoader. Funny thing is I bought a bike this year too for commute to work. Mine is a Yamaha and gets 54 mpg. It sure helps the budget in fair weather. I would be up for a GTG in SW OKC. Soda Pops would be good.

That sounds great, Roger! I'd LOVE to see what kind of progress you have on your effie! I plan on going down to Medicine Park/Mount Scott on Monday, with my brother. It will be my first long ride since I've had my bike. I'm sure you've heard it a THOUSAND or more times from people, but we should go for a ride some time. Maybe if you can get off work, you could ride down with me and my brother.
It sounds like a GTG is well underway, I'll start a new thread on it.
On a side note, I met a fella the other day, 2 fellas and one of their wives, they both have 67-72 "bumpsides" one is a F350 stake bed, the other is almost identical to mine. they both live out here in the sticks by me, I'll see if they want to join in the fun, I'm sure they will, they were both very in to their rides.
