D66 in!

So, started at 9am this morning and was done by 4pm, including lunch time. Removal wasnt terrible, ended up not removing the pedistal because of the lack of access to the rear driverside bolt on the pedistal. reached under the pedistal and unbolted the turbo from it and she came right out! install went well. the only problem i ran into was a minor oil leak on my ebpv actuator rod. i'll address that later. i took plenty of pictures and will be working on a writeup this week. thusfar, loving the performance. sounds about the same, but clears a good bit of the smoke rather quickly. thanks to all who gave advice and good wishes. ill keep yas posted, and keep an eye out for my writeup.

no vids yet, but working on the write up with pics on the install after i get done studying for one of my nursing exams tonight (god help me!). didnt' really push the boost business much yet due to the fact that my clutch is in need of an upgradeand anything over 2500rpm on moderate and up acceleration results in some serious slippage. once i get the courage up to test her out good, ill let yas know.

FFemt5287 I bet you anything the actuator leak is caused from you un screwing the rod connector. There needs to be about 1/4 of pull on the rod before you connect it to the ball of the ebpv. It happened to me

Foreman, that was my original thought, too. However, the amount of dirted (made that one up) oil on the turbo pedistal makes me think the actuator was leaking prior to my messing with it. I'll be acquiring a van pedistal without the actuator in the future to address the problem and take the ebpv out of the equation altogether.

On stage 1's, its not possible. Even Bean told me that himself, so argue with him about it but Im just goin off what the guy who had the turbo designed said buddy

And I used to speak well for the guy til he leaked out personal information to others without my permission. Thats outta my hands now tho, gotta love the B.B.

I have the reciepts that show otherwise. Your right, iasked for my records, not for you to give out my name, address, and phone number to those seking it. Come on Bean you have to be wiser then that. I tell ya what really ticks me off is that I have went outta my way to send customers your way and you could give two chits less as to keepin my personal info personal. I now have to scrape off the numerous BDP banners i have plastered on my truck that YOUR COMPANY sent me to have put on my truck to show my support.
