I am glad to see that no matter where you are or what the situation is there are those such as you and your friends that refuse to give up you need for playing with vehicles in the great outdoors.
PS, Please tell your wife that she has an outstanding taste in Trucks.

Thanks to everyone for your encouraging comments. On the streets of Karachi, it never fails to turn heads! We are having a real fun time driving it around on the streets of Karachi, and will be taking it offroad on a one week trip to the desert.

p.s Roger, just saw your truck's pictures posted on your profile - is it now complete and on road?

Hamid, no, I just got it about a month or so ago. Still deciding just how to do it, engine swap, etc. It's really a solid truck, a nice beginning. Hope I can do it justice as you have yours!

I was in Karachi back in 1975 or so...I remember taking camels into town. Shame your truck wasn't there, then!!

Hamid, all the more impressive of a build moving the dash and the drive side. I would love a truck like yours. I hope you visit often (perhaps with pics of more Pakistani Fords) and again, welcome to FTE.

Hi Rogers: Back in 1975 Karachi was a nice big city - but unfortunately today its like many big cities full of violent crime and all - no longer really a place to visit! I was in Seattle for a short visit recently - frankly I felt much safer there!

Hi Jon: Lucky for me (and my wife) the Ford F1 we have is the only one in Pakistan - its turned out to be a star attraction on Karachi streets! However I will be posting more pictures of the Ford from our future off-road trips.
