Question Carb Rebilt? I Hope It Was. Now Leaking

As You Guys That I Have Talked With Already Know. (btw ..thank You All For Your Help) We Are In Mexico And When We Took Our 1986 F250 With 460 7.5 In For Gen Mait. And To Fix Some Small Problems We Ended Up With Bigger Ones. The Backfireing Is Now Gone Thank God.. He Rebuilt The Carb It Looks Like There Are New Gaskets On The Intake And So I Know He Took It Off.. They Dont Do Things Here Like In Us So I Knew That It Was Not Going To Be Shining And New Looking But Now It Is Leaking Gas. I Can See The Drips Coming From (this Will Be Hard For Me Because I Dont Know The Names Of Things...please Bear With Me.
The Holly Carb 4 Brl Seems To Be In Three Sections Kind Of.. Front Of Carb With Gas Going In... Middle Of Carb With 4 Barrls. Front Two And Back Two.... (this Must Sound So Dumb) The Leak Is Coming From "i Think The Back Section Of The Carb That Seems To Have A Gasket Between The Back And The Middle? I Used A Screwdriver And Made The Four Screws On The Back As Tight As I Could By Hand But Still Leaking
Help Please

If it is a stock Holley It is a 4180 600 CFM. Holleys have a front bowl where the gas goes in. then there is a metal piece about 3/4" thick behind the bowl this is true for the back also. That is the metering plates. Then you have the main body with the throttles and barrels. Between the front & back bowl is a tube going between the two.
I hope I'm explaining this clear enough for you to follow me.
There are 4 bolts or screws in both front. & back bowls. Those bolts tighten both the bowl & metering plates. See if they are tight. They should be equally torqued. But just check to see if they are all snug. Also check and make sure that the metering plate and bowl are aligned up even. If everything is tight & aligned then a gasket is bad. It is an easy fix if you have the right gaskets. That is another question if they installed gaskets from a 4160 and it is a 4180 that is your possible problem.

The Scews Are All Very Snug Did That Part Myself.. But Still End Up With Leak....so It Has To Be The Gasket... Would He Have Changed That When He Did The Rebuild?

Should have been changed. It may be just out of place. Here in the states, most autoparts stores have a speed parts area that carry Mr. Gasket chrome stuff. They also carry gaskets, and they usually have the metering block and bowel gaskets hanging up there that you can buy, without buying the whole kit.

If you feel comfortable with taking the carb off the engine, then you can take the four screws loose from the rear, and do this yourself.
