I dunno Chad....my 92's hood got dinged up good before I put the bug shield on it.

I've been thinking about one for the 250 too but it's a lot higher off the ground so I'm less worried about stones chipping the nose.

Joe did you look at the front of my hood?

Stone chips everywhere.

But snow season has me on the road a lot more than most people are.
When we had that 30" storm a couple years ago, I was in my truck for two weeks straight 20 hours a day.

I had a Mini Meyers salt spreader on the back of my truck.
By the middle of the second week, every time I went to back up I saw that big yellow box in the middle of the bed right at the back.

I don't have any idea how many times as I was starting to back up I check both side mirrors.
As I swung my eyes from the drivers side to the passenger side, I would catch that yellow box in the windshield mirror.
SLAM ON THE BRAKES

One of the guys plowing with me came over, "You OK?"

Me.."Yeah I am fine, but I wish that jerk would quit pushing that Porta John out behind me when I am backing up."

You can not see it in either side mirror, but my rear work lights sure do make it shine in the window mirror.

Here I sit, in the middle of the mall parking lot, 10 degrees outside and sleeting at 3 AM thinking I just killed someone backing in to a Porta John.

That picture was taken a couple hours later when it was daylight.
Perfect size, right height, right color when the lights are shining on it at night.

Some of our snow drifts had side mirrors as well.
Ya just never know what you will see at the mall when the snow flies.
