help 94 taurus!!! fuel pump bad

has any body changed a fuel pump on one before?? if so how do you do it???

You gotta drop the fuel tank. First drain the tank, then unbolt the straps that hold it in place. Not sure if you're gonna have to pull the rear axle or not though. I'm not that familiar with the car. The sending unit is on the top of the tank. Check around the rear seats and in the trunk for a hatch, you might get lucky. If not you're gonna have to drop the gas tank.
