I don't think I'll forget to turn them off. Anyways, all I want to know is that the upfitter switches will work.

No, but theres instructions on how to put upfitter switches on earlier super-duties that didn't come with them. I was thinking I could do that

Those are the upfitter switches I was thinking about since those are the factory swithes, also would the upfitter switches work with the mirrors? Would those other steering wheel switches work for with mirrors.

No factory plug exist as of today. Our kit has brand new Molex connectors to replace both sides.

i only have 4k miles on my 08, and i have this option. when i bought my truck i never thought i would need to use this option, but now i use it all of the time. it comes in handy when a-holes dont want to wait and make their own right turn lane, when there isnt one. they have gotten so close that if i didnt see it coming and folded the mirrors in they would have been taken off for sure.

Hay defuser I never heated mirrors before. I was told on my 04 that I did not have to turn them on that they were on the the key was turned to the start position. Is that turn? I that how the heat works on your 08 mirrors? Do the mirrors have marker and turn signal lights? Are they bright?
How much larger are the mirrors than the older style?
thanks
wendelin
