V6???

Received an ad from Ford today in my email saying how much I could save by buying a new Ford SD with the NEW 6.4 DIESEL V6(!) ENGINE!!! Ummm, guess even the Ford advertisers don't know they are selling!

Lol I no how you feel, Went with my dad to a dealer the other day and we park right in front of a spakin new F450. Sales walks up leans on the truck and says "What can I do for you?" My dad says hes lookin for a F450, and the salesman says that they dont have one. Then I said Your leanin against one.
and to top it off the same guy calls About a week later to try and sell us a SHORT bed F450 with the wide trac front end.

That would be a warning to find a different dealer.

When I was shopping for my 250, after he brought me the keys and I looled it over, the salesman told me it was an 07 and they had some year end deals that I might be interested in.

I stopped by the dodge dealer and I explained to him that I would be pulling a travel trailer, we looked at 2500 and he told me that I would need to upgrade with a aftermarket rear suspension. With suprise I aked him if that would void my warrantyand he said no, everyone is doing it.

by aftermarket suspension do you just mean adding air bags to bring the rear end back up under load?

Like I said, he told me that If I would be doing any pulling I would need to upgrade with an aftermarket rear suspension. (air bags were not mentioned)

We test drove 4 doer sidekick for my mom once, while the dealer was bragging about how the sidekick was rated for offroad and such, he thought it would be a good idea to demonstrate the shift on the fly 4wd.....while my dad was driving.

Apearently that paticular sidekick did NOT have shift on the fly, at least not anymore lol, he ground the gears.

We ended up with a rav4.

Yes, LCF ( cabover ), has the 4.5 engine.

I have contacted thru email SCT tuning about a program for this engine, and have yet to hear back. Another thread for another time and place.
