I have the Autometer gauge. Not the cheap $40 gauge. It doesn't compesate for barametic atmospheric changes and can be off by as much as a pound. I have the more expensive version that has the manifold which self-calibrates each time I start the truck.

I just bought the AutoMeter Pro Comp Ultra Lite electronic kit this afternoon at Summit. My local speed shop didn't stock it. Got the gauge A/C vent mount bezel coming from Roush. I wish they made an A pillar mount for a single 2 1/16th for a 2004-up truck. Why does no one make one??? Thanks,Joe.

Autometer makes a 2 pod mount for it, and has a part you can buy to put in one of the holes so it looks okay. I looked at the A/C vent pods and passed. I don't want to lose the ability to direct air or shut off a vent.

Oh.... you can also get a full dual and triple pillar pods from Propods. Those are easier to install than the Autometer because they mount in place of the standard pillar cover. The Autometer unit mounts on top of the stock pillar cover and requires you to drill a couple of holes.

There's also a company which sells a dual gauge pod setup that goes where the ash-tray is. Might be a little hard to see though.

Well. Got the truck back several weeks ago. Have not driven it much since we were at the hospital for over a week with my brother in-law who was terminally ill. Poor guy was in a hell of a mess! Great fellow just very ill! Have now driven it a little over 300 miles. PROBLEM...the check engine light has came on/had to get codes erased twice in 300 miles. The dealership that installed the Roush Charger called Roush and got a very LAME excuse?? First....When they shipped my PCM to Roush to be reprogrammed...the Roush tech asked what all after market equipment my truck had...Magna Flow cat-back duals and JBA shortie headers. Roush tech said good...they will program it to run/function properly with those parts. Wellll NOW Roush says....they CANNOT program the PCM to work with headers?? And it will continue to get(random spark plug mis-fire) codes indefinatley?????? What the heck is this bs??? Originally they said NO prob to program to work with other parts...NOW Roush says...only one program is available and they do NOT modify it?? Supposedly the truck has to be totally stock to work properly??? I'm going to try to have a programer made for my setup by Troyer or...??? This is a bunch of crap
! Saleen or Steeda Mustang blowers will re-write the PCM program any time you add parts!! My dealership has installed alot of those...just never a Roush setup. Most likely they will not want to again! Thanks,Joe

Well.Blower update. Back to the check engine light saga!! It is getting weirder now!!! Roush is being no help at all. All they keep saying is...gotta have a stock truck! NO headers/dual exhaust..etc! Baloney!I understand that they need to keep their CARB certification...no problem. BUT i'd think...they could hook me up with someone to calibrate this properly to work with headers/duals! Back door calibration..etc!!
I hooked up my (somewhat heavy 2"X5" box tubing frame 18 ft) car trailer for a test drive with the blower today.First acceleration went well. Accelerated slowly to see how it acted. All went FINE! Then i accelerated slightly faster from a dead stop.Like i had to pull out into traffic...only ran it to maybe...2500-2700 rpm at max! Right before it shifted i HEARD/FELT a very slight surging? Heard the blower whine surge....slight up/down??? POP on goes the ##$$%&^%$ light again!!!! My dealership is done with it now. As they get no help from Roush! Says i have to talk to Roush myself. Can't blame them...since all Roush keeps saying is..."Headers or duals will cause a misfire code.Truck has to stay stock." BALONEY!! I HOPE this is just a small glitch that can be corrected! Thanks to all who are keeping up with this,
Joe
