is a 95 F350 taller than my 96 f250??

i found a picture of a 95 F350 PSD with a 4 inch suspension lift and 36 inch tires. it looked awesom. i have a 96 f250 with a 2.5 inch suspension lift and a 2 inch body lift. i was just wondering if they were about the same height. i got ahold of a set of 37's and want to know if i can run them??

any thoughts???
Thanks

37" tires might be a bit of tight fit on 4.5" of lift. My brothers 97 F250 has 4" of lift with 35" tires and they fill the wells pretty nicely. You might rub a bit but I would think you could make it work...

Your '95 F-250 has and ISF front end and that F-350 probably has a straight axle. The F-350 with a 4" lift will easily handle 35 or 36 inch tires where and F-250 with the same lift just clears 35's. This assumes equivalent rims and with about 3 1/2" rim backspace so that the tires don't hit the leaf springs when turning.

With a 2 1/2" suspension lift you will probably clear 33 inch tires if you trim the rear edge of the front bumper so that it does not contact the tire when turning. The additional 2" body lift might let you fit 35 inch tires, but they would likely rub when the suspension is fully flexed. A set of extended bump stops might prevent this. This is an easy installation.

I would trial fit those larger tires and rims first!

i have 33s on now and my bumper is extended 1 inch out. i dont do alot of off roading and when i do its not extreme. i measured 18.5 inches from the center of the rim and it clears all the way around. there is about 3 inches from the back of the fender and about 3-4 inches from the top. i will do some more measuring. the tires i am getting are GoodYear Wrangler 37x12.5x16.5 mt. with 80-90% tread left.
