ok ok, mayb i was a little harsh jake...still doesn't get u off the hook for sweeping my bay this summer lol, which reminds me, i'm gonna make the double handled broom for ur intership during break...i can't wait to see the look on their faces lol.

so this is building up to be the race of the century here, well i say don't forget to call me! i wanna c this, tho when i'm done w/ my project, i'll be going for torque, not speed... i've got enough problem w/o wrapping my pride and joy around a tree...

Hey, that sounds like a good idea. Sadly enough, Kerry will pry laugh and then tell us to use it. Anyway, what did you wrap around a tree?

Well boys – This nice weather has got me itchen to get back to work on my 56. I needed to take some pictures of my front end for a guy and also will be putting the engine mounts, tranny mounts and master cylinder in so thought I would post a couple of the pictures. I hope to have everything fitted by Late March or Early April so I can take it all apart, sand blast and paint and have the frame ready by Cruise night. That’s a BIG DREAM! My wife has some other jobs lined up for me so that may be a tall order

got me some lights rigged up on the ole 81...still workin on getting some wires ran to the ones on the headache rack and got some more to mount to the grille guard, but i think it's time to work on the more important things for now, such as getting it to idle right, overhauling the engine, performance parts, and o yea, a heater would be nice!

You don't need a heater.....actually.....in the ol '69 I rarely run the heater once it gets warmed up......enough heat comes back from the engine compartment to keep me warm........which is real nice in the winter, but sucks in the summer.....oh well. Seriously though, I expect to see that thing down here in Hastings before long....

i'm workin on that! only thing that just makes me loose sleep yet is the low oil pressure but i think that it ~should~ be fine...(famous last words) but i kinda wanna finish up all the lights so it looks at lease half way functional and maybe new tires too, idk...so, jake, u should come and enjoy a spot of pie and ice cream over here in colfax! made it myself, from the walmart shelf!

56 F100 Update

Thought I would post a few more pictures of my progress on my 56. Just installed the engine mounts, Transmission Mount, Brake Master Cyl and the front part of the Frame Boxed. The left engine mount was a bit of a challenge. Had to work around the steering gear but I think it looks pretty good. Next up is getting the Cab Stripped and off the frame so that I can get the Cowel Sections put in and then get the rest of the frame boxed so that I can sand blast and paint.
