I cannot pick a favorite mod, this new truck has all of my favorites from previous trucks plus some things that I just thought of. I think that if I had to pick one it's the sectioned cab. Thanks for the plugs from Keith and Larry, also note that the top is NOT cut like the Foose truck. As far as I know, it's one of a kind. I just hope to get it out before someone else does it. I had no luck trying to post pictures but they are in my gallery if anyone would like to look. Great thread by the way, all of you guys are a-mazing!

WOW, Im twenty years old, and have been working on my 1955 f100 for the past four years, minimum wage doesn't buy much lol, I can do metal work and all, but the things on this thread is crazy!!! High Five to everyone.
Im rebuilding mine stock though, only mod's im doing are things that make it drive better, disk brakes and all. and my sterio system i've installed. Eventually ill put the front tilt hood on it, but that'll be last.

My favorite three are:
The 49 Studebaker fender vent I grafted into mu side cowel to channel the outside fresh air into the Magic Air Heater (because I had to remove the duct with a full front tilt) It opens with the push of a cable on the passenger side under the dash:
The 51 Ford Wind-up Dash mounted clock (I put in the ash tray so I wouldn't have to cut the dash - I have a regular ash tray as well):
And, my roof stereo deck and tach. I won't cut holes in a dash to mount things so finding ways to mount the "Toys" has been a fun challange.
The spare tire carrier comes in a close fourth!

I sold a firetruck chassis to a person who came with a '48-50 COE mounted on a RV chassis. The truck looked pretty much stock but was far from stock. The simplest modification I thought was one of the best. He had all his stereo controls hidden behind the speaker panel of his radio. The plastic speak speaker grill was mounted on a piece of sheet metal contoured to the dashed and hinged at the bottom. He fastened a retractable spring loaded ket fob behind the dash and attached it to the top of the sheet metal to pull it back in place:

[quote=Holmsey;5184661]This is mine I removed the bonnt peak of my 1955 F100
I love that mod, in addition to the rest of your truck! I did mine and I am dying to see it with my new 2-tone paint!
The 1st picture shows the top after the cut, note where the w/s sits in relation to the top of the hood, all the glass and w/s are stock hgt, the hood came off of a wreck, I added the scoop and center drop and removed the peak. I 'm afraid to try it again

Wow lots of cool stuff. AXracer really like your interior dash/console etc. cool Can't wait to see it finished. I've got a lot of modded stuff, some worked and some not . Here's a couple getting this cage/roll bar setup to link to my rear frame and clear the big window and all the while conform to the current NHRA specs at 30degrees for those rear bars was a feat for me .

I think Tim's truck is really looking "Bad ***". I wouldn't want to be in the lane next to it.
