'98 Expedition -six OBD codes

My truck started idling funny. Check engine light came on, I got the codes-p0171, p0174. I changed the MAF then I got p0113 so I changed the IAT. Truck still idling funny. Then I got slammed with 6 codes - p0136 po156 p1131 p1151 p0171 p0174. Anybody have anything?

Quit changing stuff and hoping to get lucky.

Fix your vacuum leak (probably the PCV elbow on the rear of the throttle body/intake).

Reset your computer and retest AFTER everything is reset.

Also check the other pcv line to the right of the pcv valve. It has a slight bend in the hose. On mine that hose was collapsed and cracked on the back side where it was not visible.

All,

I had the same problem. Erratic idle and codes P0171 and P0174. Found that the intake manifold vacuum hose conection on the very back of the engine was deteriorated and leaking. You could hear it hissing. I also found that another vacuum hose connection coming from the same PCV valve on the right side of the engine was so deteriorated and flemsy that the vacuum suction was causing it to colapse together and constrict air flow. Check all your vacuum hose connections and I'm pretty sure you'll find your problem. Good Luuck!
