750 cfm

is a 750cfm holley too big for a 460 with a mild build?

thanks, thats what got for it. But my neighbor said it was too big. I dont think much of what he says, because I dont think he knows much aside frome him being a chevy guy. but this time i dont know why but i thought he might be right.

Chebbie guys hate being beat by Fords. He will tell you to use a 400 cfm if you can find it! LOL

For up to 5500 rpm (a good streetability factor), 732 cfm is the calculated size, but not available, so next size up will be 750, and a perfect carb.
Now, go take what the neighbor has out and pound him good with that old Ford!

never had any trouble with running that carb. the 460 s like them.

a holley 600cfm is what came factory.
