flathead v-8 battery question?
got my "new to me" 51 F-1.......
being still new to this community i have some basic questions, today it was amazed at how well the truck engine runs when i noticed the battery cables. it's has the 6-volt system still, and the postive battery terminal is grounded to the engine block and the negative terminal is routed via the relay to the battery. i've never seen this before, is it correct?

oh, looks like the flatbed on this 1/2 ton isn't going to be long enough or wide enough for my Dually build......(too bad, it's in such good condition)
