steering wheel options for 57 trhu 60

I want to replace the stock steering wheel on my 60 Ford yet retain the stock column. Just wondering what type of steering wheels would fit it. I want a 50's thru 60's era stock wheel from any car manufacturer aproximately 15". Anyone have suggestions or pics of thiers?

I believe the 50`s-60`s and possibly into the 70`s Ford car steering wheels will fit, I`ll check it out later today.

You just don't like the look of the Original or has it sometyhing to do w/ it size or is there something physically wrong w/ it?

I would like a slightly smaller steering wheel but also want a vintage look, so Grants and so forth are not to my likeing. I've seen pics where folks have replaced em with old car wheels and it looks nice, especicially if it has a chrome beauty ring.

I couldn`t get the steering wheel off an old cloumn I have laying around tonite but I do remember using a mid 70`s Mustang steering wheel on my 59 F600.
It`s too small for this size of truck without ps but did the trick for a short move across my farm yard.

Well, unfortunately if you do that, you take away a great deal of your leverage to turn the steering wheel in less turn of it & makes it more difficult to turn the truck.
