Question 1959 ford f100

I tried this once, and got an answer, just can,t remember who from. I'm looking at a 59 f100, I have a few ideas in my head, about style, as in resto/ratt? rod type, satin or primer finish?, a few things I know, like try to leave the straight 6, not sure of the original 3/4 speed in the floor, 50 pontiac/59 caddy taillights?, just trying to get a few ideas, before I buy the truck. Thanks!

In the 80's, I had a '59, with the straight 6. Did everything I ever asked of it, and more. Unless you want the project aspect, I'd leave the 6 in, and use it. If the 6 went south, then I'd consider "up-grading".

Just my $.02 worth - you actual mileage may vary...

Have a look in my gallery, I've got a few random pictures of '57-60 trucks in there.
