New seat CUSHION material?

On my 00' X I 'll be due for a new drivers side leather seat cover. Thanks to the many posts on seat covers that is not going to be a problem, however the door side edge of my seat cushion is weak and and what I need to know is if the molded foam cushioning is available. I could build it up with foam, but would rather have the original molded foam. Anybody know where that may be available?

Ernie THANKS!

Ford shows the seat cushion pad available for $73.82, part #YC3Z78632A23AA. The seat cover is also available from Ford for $216.38 in parchment or $203.45 in flint. I hope this helps.

Is that an offer to pass the savings along to the rest of us or to just let us know how much more we are having to pay?

sorry, didn't mean to make it sound that way. i just hate to see others get ripped. if you go to a dealer, ask them if they can do any better on the price. and try to call him out. ask what his cost is on it....he will probably tell you he cant tell you or he will tell you that they only make a couple dollars on it. also tell him that you called say, about 2 weeks ago and they told you that the price was about $170 something. for the leather... then see what price he gives you. but, dont bs him. if he gives you a good price, buy it. they will remember you if you dont buy it. the next time you come in,you will definately pay list price for everything....

I was just messin' with ya. No offense taken. Thanks for the advice on dealing with the parts counter. As an adjuster I am pretty aware of the kind of profit made on parts. What kills me is the amount made on plastic trim like a door molding. At least with sheet metal or an engine component there is competition in the marketplace. With something like plastic trim they know no one else will make it and they can hose the customer.
