Hard top pully system

I would like to see some pics of pully systems set up in the garage or barn or wherever for a 1 man hard top removal. I have a barn and a system that I can back up 2 lift of top and drive off would be great. any ideas would be great!

To make it easier and if you have a POS top you could fasten eyelets thru the top of it at each corner to attach your rope to and it would eliminate having to put the 2X's under the top.

Seeing as how the top is mostly fiberglass and it has a LOT of flex, I'd be a little wary of supporting it from anywhere than the bottom, like the 2 pieces of lumber in the picture.
If you really wanna get hi-tech, find an old garage door closer assembly and hook the ropes up to the end of the chain. Make sure you place the on/off switch so the top only comes up a few inches or maybe a foot. That way, it can be a NO man system once its hooked up.

what kind of lifting system do you have on it ranger? Do you have all the ropes tied off to a hand crank?

I have not advanced that far yet Moxley. Basically I lift the front 1st about 2 feet and tie it off to the workbench then I lift up the back and tie it off. It would be pretty simple for me to get an old boat trailer hand crank and use that to attach the ropes to. Right now it is all lifted by simply pulling on the ropes, not real hard for 1 guy to do.
