292 valve lash adjusment.

ok i know how to adjust them when there cold but how do you do it hot. i have a 59 ford truck manuel and it says that when you adjust them hot your suppost to have it running? that dont seem right to me how would you do that.

I, "suggest", if you have doubts about thus procedure, find someone who has done it before and watch them do a couple and then have them guide you through the rest. I suggest this for two reasons, a running engine gets pretty hot, and moving parts are very unforgiving when fingers get in the way. Good luck, Tom
