Trading...

I've got this old Tempo of mine I'm trying to get rid of.

1994 temp with a 2.3L and a 5 speed. I'm asking $500 "or trades" for it.

Think anyone might trade me an older 4x4 truck for the car?

I kinda doubt it but it might be neat to have some 4WD beater. *shrug*

Pardon my idle rambling

You never know but I would guess that a $500 4x4 is in much worse condition than a $500 Tempo.

My wife and I had one for 9 years and it was a good solid car so maybe you can catch someone looking for a first car for their kid or something.

Good luck.

It's hard to kill a tempo, our 86 had over 200,000 miles on it when we gave it to a friend at church who is still driving it. Your best bet would to shoot for an early
bronco II or early xj cherokee, they go cheap at times. As far as a 4x4 p/u, you may find an early ranger, s-10 or dakota, but I'm sure the condition would be nothing to brag about.

I think you will have to sell and then buy.

the Pizza Ranch here in town has one as a delivery vehicle. Maybe you could sell it to them?

I would think that a posting on a college campus would get it sold. I have a friend who buys cars and then ships them to Mexico and makes tripple money on them. They are junk cars too!!

Not likely unless it needed a lot of work.

I think the Tempo on Craigslist or E-Bay would sell quickly. I would post what it gets for gas mileage first since many people will not know what a Tempo is. Example:

"1994 Ford 2 door - 4 cyl - 5 speed - 24 mpg"
