Did you add the certain amount to the gas tank/oil as well? also; you do an oil change when you're done correct?

covered like a hundred times.

do a can in tank and a can through the brake booster hose.

let it sit, wait till the neighbors you do not like are eating and than fire it up.

I have the same year truck with the same motor and it works great. Every once in a while ill pour some in the oil a few hundred miles before an oil change to keep it clean and the truck still runs great at 160k miles.

We usually sell at least one can of SeaFoam every day at work. Everybody seems to be satisfied with the product. There are a couple used car dealers that give each car a treatment before the emissions test.

i swear by sea foam... .about a cup into vacuem booster hose...... the rest into the fuel tank. It works great exprecially if your system is cruded up with junk... Just remember to change fuel filter when done running the treated gas through. All the crud from the tank is now in your filter

I didn't have any filter issues.
But i have a RENU tank.

I run it right in my crank case, whole can with an oil change.
Not 100 miles before change, when I first start out.
Oil seems to stay cleaner the whole time, and happy.
I don't randomly miss oil anymore.

I used my last bottle week or so ago. Now I can't find it any where locally . I guess I order a case.

When done in tank cleans injectors ETC . (put new fuel filter on after use )

In vacuum hose cleans upper intake ETC

In crank case cleans breaks down deposits .

I know people who run 1/2 quart to new oil changes.

Good luck

Question Pros & Cons??

Hi ya'll,
been watching this thread with great interest. A lot of good ideas.
See this thread https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...elerating.html

What are the gotchas in using SeaFoam in the different places ya'll have suggested???

Why would SeaFoam be the worst thing I could do??? (Playing Devil's advocate)

The application is my '91 F-150

Thanks from TX

the only draw back to putting it into vacuem system is the 30 min or so of white smoke you get as it burns it out of your system..... Other then that there are no bad side effects. Other then a cleaner fuel system and better over all performance
