Thanks for the update, pawpaw. My transmission cooler is installed (https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...th-photos.html) and doing great after many years.

I also fixed some Overdrive issues noted on the trip by cleaning the transmission electrical pins and tightening the transmission bands (https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...d-problem.html).

 

Mines a Starndard Trans so do I still use Mercon V Fluid??

 

What are you driving, which manual tranny does it have, or what does the owners manual specifications page call out for tranny fluid????
