Kam code

As far as I know KAM stands for Keep Alive Memory...it is where the OBDII system stores info about the problems it finds in the trucks systems. I have no idea why you would find that as an error though. We usually get DTC codes reported, this is the first time I have ever heard of a KAM error.

Uhmm, well, I better shut up because the links escape me at the moment, but I have seen posts about customer support when Edge stuff goes on the fritz and it wasn't pretty. Since I have not archived any of that I will shut up except to say I have seen them.
We agree where the KAM error may come from and that is probably about it. I am sure the Edge tunes are far better than stock. So is a 10K mod too though.
EDIT: BTW, my #8 LL injector is louder with my DP as it was with the TS. He has a LL too.

It will depend on which Kam Error code you have
P0603/P0605 is normal to read off after installing a chip or programmer or you disconnected the batteries or there was some kind of power loss to the PCM.
P0606 is questionable. It does mean internal PCM failure, but doesn't mean it is completely toasted. Recoverable, maybe. ???
Which code are you getting?
