Successful Lemon Law case on my 2007 Expedition Eddie Bauer 4X4.
Turned in the Truck yesterday. Ford paid me when I turned it in, and is now paying off the loan with the bank. This vehicle had too many tire pressure sensor failures, and I was successful in the case. I wish the rest of you good luck, and hope you do not have any problems like I had. I believe mine to be an exception to the rest, and hope the problem is not rampant.

Congrats. How long did the whole process take? Did you hire a lawyer?
Within 45 days of filing, I had the hearing. Two weeks for the ruling, and 3 weeks post ruling for the check and turn in date.
Overall, I'd say fairly quick. The process is very automated in Florida.

Good for you Randy. I just had mine into the dealer for the 4th time this week for the same issue. I'll give them one more chance but I may try to do the same thing if they don't correct it.

Is it the straps snap and that throws the balance off? How poor can these straps be?

Actually I misspoke. I said I had the same issue when I should have said I also have a tire pressure sensor issue but not the exact same one Randy has been dealing with. In my case it is an electronic issue where the sensors fault at random not that the straps break and cause the fault.
But to answer your question yes...in Randy's case the straps break and made it hard to drive over 45 as I recall.

I've had several strap failures. Either they broke completely, or spun on the rim as if they were loose. Then the sensor itself would come off rotate on its own inside the wheel. I am not able to post pics through my FTE account, however I do have the breakdown for you to see if you like from the Ford Repair Manual.

I have never known anyone that had a vehicle "Lemon Lawed" and was forced the auto manufacturer/dealer to buy back the vehicle for full purchase price.
I also have never in 7 years on these boards been asked to quit sniffing glue when I asked a legitimate question or gave my opinion on a vehicle related question, but I guess there is a first for everything, and a last too!

Dude, ease up on the Dexedrine. Put yourself in his shoes, would you buy the same car??

I just had one of my sensor's replaced two weeks ago on my 2007 Expedition Eddie Bauer because I kept getting the tire pressure sensor fault message. I've now been "message free" for two weeks, so I'm hoping my woes are over! Thanks for sharing your journey with regard to this same issue.
I just wonder what dark hole the boys at Ford have stuffed the guy who decided on straps vs. a little machine work and screws to mount these things....They already cut the hole for the valve stem, you'd think you could program another little function into the tool....
