1967 F350 Dually 352 2bbl 4spd w/hydraulic lift. The lift works, although the pump leaks some (and unfortunately on whats left of the muffler). The truck runs, the engine seems solid, as does the trans. Tires are junk, have all 6 original dually offset split rims (yay), the spare is newer. The body is fixable, but very rough, and the interior is in VERY bad shape, but the mechanical part of the truck seems great. Sell the whole truck as-is (you can listen to it run) for $50, no title. PM me if interested.

I think you did something backwards, moved south during the summer, then when winter hits here you are moving back north again. Dumb kids anyway.
As to a 460, I sold the one I had but, the junkyard around here is pretty reasonable on them, last one I got was $250 for a complete running 460 gaurentteed to run, the first one I got had a missing main bolt, actually broke, took it back and no problem he just went and grabbed another one no questions asked. I think Core motors are either $100 or $150 for big blocks.

chrono-I have a 460 sitting on my shop floor that I wouldnt mind getting rid of- ran when I pulled it about 6 years ago, but smoked badly- no intake or oil pan on it- dont remember if it has pulleys or not, but I could most likely find all of that if I dug around a bit. I could even bring it most of the way to you next friday(24th) if you are available. $100??

F350 for sale

Typical Iowa rust 1991 7.3 5sp manual extended cab 2 door. good interior red buckets with storage chest. Clutch is good so are brakes tranny etc.Engine is good less than 120k.newer batteries.
needs water pump put in I have it and new fan clutch just can not get the fan clutch off to get pulleys. Tires are good.
not running now due to water pump.
Guess mainly selling engine and tranny for highest dollar. love the truck but at my end with it and ford.

Jack-

Sonds like an awesome truck. I would think it's worth fixing. I know it can be a pain sometimes, but I'm sure someone here has a trick to help you out! Have you tried the diesel 6.9 / 7.3 forum?

Its alot better than the one I replaced it with. Yea been there and just can not get the sucker off the water pump. am thinking of cutting it off this weekend and just putting it back together and put the for sale sign on it.
I have seen them asked for 5-6k with tons of miles and more rust and needing more. so I fig if I can get 4 for it it is gone.

I had a friend who works the diesels all the time tell me to take an air hammer to it and get it spinning with the airhammer and chisel, worked quite slick, came right off, but be real sure you are going left handed thread.Try to give a glancing blow rather than straight on.If that doesn't buge it, warm it up a bit because it may have gotten some lock tight on it. If you want diesel, you won't be likely to get away from that kind of fan mounting. It actually is pretty common, Cummins uses it too, don't know about the Duramax.
