had a meeting today, food was catered, some kind of philly cheesesteak thing.

I was occupied, and couldn't be there to see how people were serving theirs. It was a crescent roll, wrapped around onions and green peppers and provolone. Then they made some kind of cheese, which may have been cheese wiz with ground peppers, not really sure, and it was mixed with liquid crack, and then I.... not knowing what the bowl next to it was, thinking it was the brown liquid that rhymes with Achoo, put that on top. More liquid crack... Fan Tast IC!!! turns out the brown liquid I thought was rhymes with Achoo that I can't spell, was French onion soup. WOW!!!! Just wow..

I made a roast that I was pretty proud of overnight. It was really very good flavor and just the right texture. I put it in the crockpot overnight with a cup of water, a tsp of sugar on the top of the roast, two bullion cubes, a tablespoon of Olive Oil, and two tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar. I let it cook overnight in the crockpot and about 3:30 in the morning I was woke up by the smell, it smelled good enough in the house to make me want to get out of bed and taste it. I didn't, I removed it in the morning before going to work and separated it from the fat which was really easy to do. Lets just say the whole family loved it, and it was really good warmed up for the next few meals as well.

Sounds good Curtis.

AJ put together a ham and pea soup for supper. It looks and smells good.

Last night I was told to take part in a training for Skimming devices. If we arrived early enough, dinner was provided.

They had Prime Rib, Roast Turkey, Mashed potatoes with bacon mixed in, salad, Hawaiian dinner rolls, salad, and cherry pie with ice cream. (plus open bar)
It was a great training, but a scary realization to how crazy high tech crooks are these days

When I first read this Curtis, I thought you wrote "how crazy this high tech cooks are these days." I wondered what high tech had to do with prime rib, etc.

My brother had a 55 birthday this month and my brother in law turned 65. Their wives put on a party for them yesterday. They had great side dishes plus grilled wild turkey and beef tenderloin. I hurt myself and ate too much.

On Friday I brought my lunch to work, but right after work I went to the other branch where they had a huge smoked Prime Rib from the BBQ place down by the mall, in the kitchen, as people were just finishing up lunch. There was a lot left over, and so they had me try a piece of it. It was very good! I am glad they were done cleaning up after I finished my sample, because I probably would have gone back for more. Oink, Oink..

My wife and I have such hectic schedules this week, we haven't had time to eat together, every day I keep thinking that "Perhaps tonight she and I can go out for dinner and talk" but when I get home, she tells me "I am going (insert place here) You have (insert daughter's name here) and (insert daughter's name here) I am taking (insert daughter's name here) to (insert place here), you need to get them fed, and (insert daughter's name here) in the bath by (insert time here) Help (insert daughter's name here) with homework, and then read Sophia a book. I will be home at (insert time here) and (insert daughter's name here) will need to get into the bath, so make sure the other two are done with their's so that she still has hot water. There's leftovers in the fridge that nobody is going to eat if you want to try to serve them that, or you can make something else. Bye.

Well... ok guess we aren't going to dinner tonight.

Who knows what we will have today. Depends on which one of us decides to cook something or just have a cheese or PBJ sandwich.

work cooked up some hotlinks and sausage on the grill, which was a nice little surprise for me, because I didn't know they were planning on anything today. Typically I bring my lunch, but didn't today, as I was thinking maybe I would treat myself to a restaurant meal for lunch. The sausage was home grown (get ur mind out of the gutter) from my manager's family farm. Hot links were just some they found in the freezer. Now it should be deemed nap time.
