Wink Whats the Original Suspension Worth?

I have someone interested in buying my original suspension and column off my 54 F100. I don't really know what these are worth. They look to be in original condition for a truck of this age and since I have never driven the truck I don't know the exact condition. He also want's my stearing column and stearing box assembly as well which was tight when on the truck. I tried to look on ebay for an idea but didn't find anything. I did find someone here selling the column for $150 but that's all I could find.

Anyone have any idea what this stuff is worth??

I would take whatever he is offering, this stuff is readily available. I gave mine away and was glad to help someone and it got rid of it for me.

The guys on here are too cheap to make any money off.

I sold my good 48 steering box on Ebay for $75...junked the column, gave the front axle and springs to a friend to make a trailer and still have the original rear end sitting behind my garage...

You mean I might have made a buck off of the junk that I took off of my truck? I hauled it all to the scrapyard I really don't think anyone would have wanted it anyway.

I gave all mine away to a local F-1 "collector" who has returned the favor in kind
for other "junk" that I wanted from him. Barter is not dead in the UP of michigan!

Pieces are akways worth more than a whole chassis.
I have seen front brakes (drums, backing plates, hubs) go for over $250 on ebay. These are perfect for upgrading older Ford mechanical brakes to hydraulics.
Steering column/box will bring $100 any day.
Springs, rear end, etc are not worth much.
