Rear end clicking noise - Royal Purple change

Did anyone recently change to RP and experience the rear-end limited slip to start popping/clicking noise? I bought a used 2004 PSD FX4 in which I just notice that one of my pan bolts were over torqued and the stud was left in the case. I used an easy-out to remove the bolt, taking all precautions to make sure no shaving made it into the diff case, removed all excess gear oil and replaced with RP. RP is supposed to have the friction modifier additive in it so I didn't bother with it. Now my rear end clicks when I turn, and I'm afraid to tear up my limited slip. I also don't want to add too much friction modifier to disable my limited rear end from working properly. Please help.

I'd call Royal Purple first, ask them about it. You supposedly don't need the friction modifer with the RP lube.

Thanks Redford, I tried emailing the tech support but I received an error message. So I called and was forwarded to tech support. The support guy there said that it was possible that the clutch plates hadn't been fully lubricated yet, to go in an open parking lot and do figure 8's to circulate the fluid into the clutch plates. If it still clicked to add only 2 oz. of friction modifier but very high possibility that this wasn't the issue and not needed. I drove it for lunch and no noise. Probably just jumped the gun. Thanks for the follow-up
