33x12.50/15" tires fit on '99 4x4 F-150!!!

I've got a '99 Supercab 4x4 F-150 and before doing any research, I bid on a set of 33x12.50/15 A/T tires and 10"x15" wheels on e-bay. Then, (like an idiot)I decided do do a lil' research to make sure I could fit the tires under my truck. I won the bid before getting to the info I was looking for or getting any responses on my post. Needless to say, nothing I found was good news. The biggest problem I was told was fitting the 15" wheels on my truck due to the larger disc up front, and that 33" tires may or may not fit without a lift depending on whether I wanted to mess with the torsoin bars and shave the front valance any or not. I decided that when the wheels & tires came in, I'd just sell 'em, and then buy some that would work. When they came in though, I decided to double check first hand for myself before reselling them. Guess what: the wheels fit. I couldn't believe it. So I went on ahead and mounted the tires on the wheels and put them on the truck. Problem #1: Before leaving the driveway, the weights caught the caliper and peeled off. Solution: I moved the weights further inside and have yet to lose one. Problem #2: 33x12.50 tires and no lift. Solution: I turned the torsoin bars 2 complete turns (maxium recommended if any at all)and cut about 3" of the front valance and about 1/4" of the back of the front fender flares. I could tell no difference in the height from turning the torsoin bars, I turned them back the 2 complete turns. I cut turn lock-to-lock without rubbing, but I didn't lose that much of my turning radius, and is only a problem when trying to park into too tight a parking place, otherwise works just fine. So therefore, rather recommended or not I don't know, but will work. Sorry for the lenght of the post, But I didn't want to leave anything out. Check for pics. Thanks, Thomas
