i will start this off telling y'all that my interior is blue and has a regular bench seat in it. did ford have blue 40/20/40 bench seats for these trucks? i have 2 blue bucket seats here that i can put in, but i don't want open space there and i want a console that flips up for a seat, like the 40/20/40 seats have in the center. do y'all have any ideas? i haven't found or seen a blue 40/20/40 and i don't know what i could do for a center console/middle seat so that i can use these bucket seats. thanks for any ideas and help.

I think they did have the 40/20/40 in all the interiors but find one would be hard. if you can live with the buckets and jsut a center console I used a superduty center console in my 95 with buckets and it fit and functioned much better than the stock center console. its much higher and fits alor more stuff. I bought the console off ebay. Lots of conversion companies take them out and store them then off them on ebay.

If you need a center seat I would guess the junk yards and car-part.com is your best bet.

 

Pick up a Truck Trader book and in the parts section in the back there is a guy with refurbed factory seats. Usually a full page ad and for a long time he was on the inside of the back cover. He is located in Kaufman, Tx, southeast of Dallas on HWY 175. I think the name is Truck Seat USA.

 

Ebay has factory covers and seats. Check under ebay motors, parts, sub title Ford interior parts.

My '97 XLT Crew Cab has the blue 40/20/40 front seats. You CANNOT have mine, but you might check your local salvage yards. They might have some. Maybe LMC might carry them.

i did not see them on the online catalog on LMC truck. i might check a couple of the salvage yards around here, but i want some seats that are in decent condition so it's probably going to be hard to find.

you don't have a blue interior though do you Joe? i thought yours is gray. gray is easier to find than the blue ones from what i have seen. if i can't find the seats then i might just have to get a center console made so i can use the bucket seats

 

would u want 2 sell ur buckets just so happened??? and where did u find buckets for these trucks???

 

i have a set of buckets out of an RX-7 that are really easy to make fit. i think i'm going to use the buckets, but if i don't use them in my truck then they will probably go into our International Scout II.
