Here's a few pics of the rear of my truck when I got it. The fabrication on the bumper wasn't too bad but look at the monstrosity that is a taillight bracket...yes its actually welded to the rear stake pockets....ugh

My 51 has a double ribbed front bumper but no rear bumper. Is the front bumper original? Who knows but I would like to put the same on the rear if I can find one.

 

Yes, the double ribbed bumper is original to 51/52 trucks...
