1951 Toyota gear

Just got off the phone with blueovaltruck parts. Had ordered a rebuilt steering gear for my truck. They called me back and informed me no longer available. I can find the Toyota conversion at several places. I do not want power steering. Have any of you done or seen a manual steering box for this application. Or I would like to buy a rebuilt or good steering gear. Please help. Thanks. Hutch.

Also trying to find the pics in the gallery of Walston. It says in the tech article that he has some good step by step pics of the pitman arm mods.

I spoke to a company named Lares Corp. They told me that they would rebuild mine for $275. Their # is 800-334-5749. At this point I am trying to decide what to do. The rebuild will be alot cheaper and quicker, but not have as good of steering. Kinda like in a rock and a hard place. LOL
