Lube

Hello, I have a 2003 F150 5.4l, after my oil change I went to use my lube gun but cannot find any lube nips. Is everthing sealed if not were are the lube points? thanks

I believe the idler arm is the only joint with a grease fitting.....everything else is sealed from what I have seen.

Thanks for your quick reply, I have been a bit busy and havn't climbed under the truck this week but did last night and couln't find it, do you have picks or can you help me get close to were this is?

Is yours a 4x4? If so just look under the front end of the truck, you will see a crossmember and just above it is the pitman arm on the drivers side and the idler arm on the passenger..........both are connected to the steering linkage. BTW.........you will need a grease gun with a flexible rubber hose to get at the nipple.

I just replaced my pitman arm with a Moog part and now I can grease that as well.

excellant, I was looking on the drivers side, will tackle it tommorow
