I have a 1993 4X4 F350 crew cab long box 7.3 IDI with a 5 speed manual behind it. Mod's to the engine Are, pump was turned up, 4inch exhaust, cold air intake.
No turbo yet.

I was wondering if any one has pulled with something similar, expecialy with a manual trans. And what gear would be the best to choose?

I talked to a guy last weekend that was pulling a cummins, and he had a manual. He pulled in high range, first gear. He also took first place.

 

I 1994 7.3 idi turbo i put a banks sidwinder on it turned up the injection pump made a coldair intake for it i have a 5-speed wit 4-10 gears iv got plenty of for 3 but i keep blowing through the krapy clutches but i will fix that problem before to long.
