FINALLY!!! A real GM sport truck with the 6.0 pushed to its limit. Those idiots at GM have had GREAT opportunity to make a truck that would outwork the Lightning and the SRT-10, good to see they are (hopefully) going to do it.
That's Roush that's doing it, not GM. Roush already does this for the F150 to fill in the void Ford left with the Lightning. We'll have to wait and see if this sketch becomes a reality, but that is one ugly truck (color combo makes it look like the Duke boys ought to be driving it).
My gut feeling is Roush has been snubbed by Ford more than once in the last year or so. Its not Roush's supercharger in the Harley F150 or the Foose F150. Additionally, the performance market for Ford trucks isn't what it used to be considering fuel prices. If you can't expand your growth in a vertical market you have to find other markets....
With out Roush in nascar, who else drives Fords? Robby Gordon? Jack is operating on a deserted island in Cup racing.
Maybe this is the beginning of the end of Roush in Fords.
That's interesting you say that. I just posted on the post I started Why is Chevy Kicking Fords Butt in Nascar. I just said something like what you said. I don't think Ford is feeding Roush or Yates the money GM is their teams. One reason I said this is because of the Roush-Fenway deal. It was for money I'm sure. Then Yates building most Ford engines. It sure seems like Ford isn't that into NASCAR. Why I don't know. Interesting.
Personally I like the color. A friend of mine had a 1966 C10 Chevy close to that color.
