If you want a two tone look, how about two shades of gray? A Dove gray with medium gray or charcoal fenders would look downright elegant.

My buddy painted a 40 Ford tudor once in cream with tan fenders that looked killer!

Fat56,

Do you have any idea as to what year older Ford the Dove gray came on?
I don't know how old you're talkin about, but in 1978 Ford had a color they called dove gray. It was used on some of th T-Birds and LTD's we had a LTD station wagon that was dove gray with a dk blue interior.I know cause that's what color I painted the dash and tops of the doors in my 1956 F100.

Elegant ain't a word I'd use to describe my truck...but thanks for the suggestion anyway!
