I recently purchased a 2-71. i was told it was a 1976 model, but the wiring diagram in the control panel says Draw date 4-11-1950. the wiring diagram # is 5182862. It is a Model 2017H
unit # 2A16602 S.N. is same as unit # Hours on the meter is 1256. It is a 20kw generator. Gm part # on Gen. head is 5174320 150 amp. panel # 11479. info on the elec panel is Lake Shore Elect mfg. Cleveland Ohio. model 11557 customer part # 5182261. on the rocker cover it has ks-5750 xx list 1 rev 2.
Anyone here familiar with this unit? I just bought a manual set and should be getting it on Monday. I am not familiar with the engine or generator head at all, so any help or info is greatly appreciated.
I was told that it came from a Bellsouth service center. It has several add on options on it also. Also on the wiring diagram, it says optional air heater sw and coil added, resister removed from OPD and external resister added. over speed governor connections revised. I have many pictures and will post somewhere when I figure out how to.
Location is New Orleans area.
