95 f250 351w

I have a 5.8L engine i removed from a 95 f250, I was under the impression it is a roller cam engine, but I've heard mixed advice. Can some one verify wether or not the 95's came with a roller cam? Also, when i pulled the oil pan it looks as though the crank ands rods are aluminum? does any one know what the compression ratio is? If I recall correctly I think i read 8.3 somewhere. how about the stock hp rating? and lastly,

has any one supercharged one of these engines in stock form?

5.8's are versitle.

94 and 95 would have the High Output firing order.
And i do belive they have roller cams and lifters.

According to the carcraft magazine i was reading earlier, they were saying after 85 or 86 they all did, but i think that was only in the HO mustangs and trucks.
All the regular trucks were solid lifters till at least 91. Well, from my best knowlege.

Could throw a nice packston on there, or other supercharger.

I cannot answer the crank and rod questions though.

I thought the compresion ratio was 8.5 or 8.75, but i do not know that answer.

I would highly suggest beefing up the engine's guts before installing a blower... You will mostly likely run into big problems if you skip the middle step...

It may or may not have the roller cam, but the 351 block was roller ready starting in 94, officially (F4TE casting). The crank and rods should both be cast iron. Stock power was 210 or 215 best I can remember. Firing order is no indication of if it's a roller cam or not since the 351 used the same firing order throughout its life. Most of the car magazines are car 302/5.0 oriented and don't translate much over to these trucks.

update... i figured y not?

anyway... it does not have a roller cam however it is a roller ready block "f4te" stamped on the underside and the holes are predrilled in the valley for the roller cam. crank and rods are iron, stock hp rating was 210 however due to its bad rings im guessing its only kicking out about 160rwhp.
