Fuse panel access
How do I get to the fuse panel in my 2005 Aviator? Is it the same as the Explorer?
My manual says it's under the instrument panel on the driver's side with a picture of an arrow pointing to where the parking brake is. The plastic panel underneath the steering wheel is is held on with 2 little hex head capscrews.
Surely you don't have to use a hex socket to take that panel off to get to the fuses do you?

As far as I can tell, the fuse panel, is mounted the same as the explorer. If you don't remove the cover panel off, you will need to stand on your head next to the brake peddle and look up under the driver side dash. Take off the panel and use a mirror to look at the fuses. Not 1 of Ford's best ideas, or location.
