Has anyone figured out how to disable the door open chime on a 2008 F-250 yet?? The pre 08's were easy, but I can't figure out how to get to it on my 2008, would sure like to disable that dinger when the key is still in and door is open....

Would really love to make the upfitter switches hot all the time also, if anyone has figured that out...

Thanks for the post, but I can see what I think are more than one blue/gray wire, is it the dark blue wire with a small gray trace on it???

 

Pull tyhe switch out & tape the contacts on the top. Then just put it back in.
Thats the easiest way.

 

OK, but how do you pull the switch out on a 2008?? On the prev model trucks, you put push a small punch in the hole and turn the key to on and take it out, but this one is completely different..
The key doesnt even turn backward for ACC, the first notch is ACC, then ON then START...
