1990 stock am/fm cassette radio question

I have a 1990 Ranger with the stock am/fm cassette. The LCD backlight display no longer works. I can read the clock and the station ID in bright light but at night it is black. The rest of the radio lights work at night. Is there a bulb I can replace or is it time for an aftermarket radio? Thanks, Dan

Yes I believe you can replace the bulb. Remove the front face and you can get at it.

Thanks for the replies! Not as hard as I thought! Now I just have to get the clips to remove the radio. Thanks again!
