Engine Cutoff/Limiter

Just purchased a new 2002 F150XLT with a 4.2L engine. Finished break in and was testing to see how fast truck would go. Sadly enough, it tops out around 97 mph (3,200 rpm). The engine starts to cut back at this speed which I assume is due from a "limiter" installed on the engine from the factor. Is there a performance part (chip, etc.) that I can purchase and install that will let the engine obtain a higher RPM resulting in more speed? Don't plan to drive this fast, but nice to know that I'm not "limited" to 97 mph on the open road.

Engine Cutoff/Limiter

Yup, there are several companies that make chips that remove the rev limiter. Superchips, diablo, and some others.
