Anyone know where I could get my 04 F250 6.0L PSD dyno'd in Metro Atlanta? Preferably north of Atlanta. Thanks!

 

David Dunbar of Diesel perf. has a mobile set up based out of Commerce (I think) but you may want to look up his website to figure out his schedule if he has anything local.

err side note... knowing that FTE HQ is south-eastern Atl.... it would be cool if we could get a "open house" /Multi-chapter meet with a dyno on-site...

 

I'd definately be down for a meet w/ dyno on site.

 

The car show that comes to the horsepark in Conyers in spring usually has a dyno. It is portable so it is setup just to see what you are putting out not for tuning. It was like 50 bucks for three pulls iIrc last year. I think Kirks speed shop in Monroe has a dyno. That is all I know of.

 

I know that Star Racing in Americus GA had a Dyno. That was a long time ago I dont even know if they are still in buisness. They built the Star Racing NHRA drag bikes. I know thats not exactly in Atlanta but if you dont have any luck locally you might check with them if they are still in buisness. Just a thought.

Yeah a couple fire buddies and myself are gunna try to get up there early to have our diesels dyno'd.

I'm wondering what all is involved with running the 1/4 mile as well? Do you have to sit in some safety class? Wear a helmet?

 

I need to have mine done somewhere close to conyers...I want to know what its putting down

 

i know this thread is quite a few months old, but there is a place in Calhoun, GA. he charged 80 bucks for 3 pulls, called a dyno dynamics machine, he's less than 1/4th mile off I 75 at the highway 225 exit

 

There is also a place in Duluth now. Right behind Gwinnett Place Mall, not sure of the name but if anyone wants more info just let me know.

 

Whats the name of the place in Duluth behind the Mall. I live close to there and would like to see what my truck is puttin out since some mods I've added.

I know its not north of atlanta but Jeff Garmon of Garmons diesel in McDonough has dyno'd my truck. $60 for 3 runs. i'll be going back to him as soon as the dyno comes back to his shop (portable)

there is a 4 wheel dyno in north ga that will fit your 250, is good to 2000 hp, and will test power at all four wheels in process, either in two wheel or four. not sure of the name but shouldnt be hard to find.
