6-speed automatic

I recently purchased a 2005 Navigator with the 6 speed transmission. Does anyone know if the '05 Navigator 6 speed tranny is the same as your '07 Expedition tranny? I am trying to find more information about my ZF 6 speed auto and am having some difficulty searching under just "Lincoln" and "Navigator". Thanks in advance.

It is not the same, the 07 and 08 Expeditions have a 6R75

That's not how I read it.

The 6R75 is used with the 4.6L in the Explorer and Mountaineer.

But the transmission gear ratios Ford has listed on its website for the Explorer and Expedition 6 speeds are identical, which seems an unlikely coincidence, so you could be correct.
