I saw an F-1 with a Chevy bed on it a few years ago at a show. Unless you were an F-1 expert you would not have even noticed it. I realized the bed was not original but did not know what it was until I asked the owner. He used a smoothed Chevy tailgate. It's your truck. Do with it what you want.

I like the box on your truck-it definately is different and the creases in the fenders seem to be an extension of the body lines of the cab and front sheet metal. Maybe the bed can be raised a little to align with the bottom of the cab? On the tailgate, I'm pretty sure you can get them smooth or with louvers from MAR-K so you wouldn't confuse folks.

Best of both worlds, do wht you want with your truck...that's why its called CUSTOM...taking a sweet truck and turning into a head turner...that's the ticket...yeah, dark side, well real dark! like double vader, but so what, you put your art into what you want...hopefully original meaning "your own."
